I run hot. I run so hot that when the temp hits 70 outside, I put my AC at 60 degrees. I run so hot that I blast the AC in my car...in the winter. I run so hot that I would often forego my jacket in January. In the NORTHEAST. Blankets make me sweaty. This blanket does not make me sweaty.
I love the backstory: A mother daughter duo who made it their mission to track down a blanket they had in their summer house growing up (and that everyone in their family would fight over). The company who made that blanket was long gone and there were NO dupes that matched up. So they went to Germany and sourced materials and a manufacturer that could recreate this beloved blanket.
There is no fleece (HOT) and no wool (SCRATCH). This is a cotton blend blanket.
You can wash it in your washer and dryer and it won't compromise the feel or fabric. No dry clean only vibes here.
Bring it outside, bring it in the car, put it on your bed. It's sturdy. Several cat and dog heads say that their animals have not ruined their Chappywraps with scratches.
Doesn't shed and doesn't pill.
The family size is 90x90 and this could fit on a King size or Queen size bed as a summer blanket.
The original Chappywrap is 60x80 and great for the couch or any adult, a picnic blanket, or to wrap around your shoulders on a chilly night by the fire (chic).
The midi is little kid sized and the mini is perfect for a baby blanket.
