I hope your Thanksgivings were cozy and magical, or at least passably fine if the holidays aren’t your thing. And if they weren’t? Consider this your permission slip for a little treat. Today is the last day of Big Sale Season and we’re closing it out with a bang, not a sigh.
If you’ve been circling something all weekend, today is your last lap.
Here’s what I am most excited about. These products (below) from these particular brands almost never go on sale. They save their discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and that is it. And they happen to be some of the most loved items in our little ecosystem. Yours and mine. So I pulled them all together in one clean, easy place to shop. It’s finally time to grab the thing that’s been sitting in your cart since April:
PrintFresh
The iconic Bagheera print in Eco Rittenhouse Satin drops to 25% off for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and that’s it. These jammies are so good I have three pairs (all purchased last Black Friday/Cyber Monday!). I liveeee in these. They are so comfy. I do true to size but if between sizes you could take your smaller size. Don’t sleep on these; sleep in them.
Edie Parker
The best party time accessories from a brand that does not live in the land of constant discounts. A tabletop lighter? A lighter cover? They have it all. Perfect for the cool girl you have trouble delighting and surprising!
Oribe
Salon level haircare that behaves like luxury skincare. This spray acts like a dry shampoo and a hairspray in one, and no dupe can compare. Trust, I tried them all. That’s why I get a few bottles when it’s on sale (right now!).
Fishwife
The fancy tinned fish you bring to a dinner party to signal that you are fun but also have taste. These sets move fast and rarely get price cuts, and the caviar especially is such a fun treat for the price. Bring it to your New Year’s Eve party along with potato chips and creme fraiche and you’ll be the most popular guest in the room.
Tower 28
The only spray that fixes every single thing I dare it to fix. It’s truly magic. Rashes, zits, you name it, and I’ve sprayed SOS on it. I’m like the dad with Windex from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. This brand keeps sales tight and controlled, so if you live by SOS, this is your restock window (and as a little nod, it’s 28% off site-wide!)
Olaplex
No.6 frizz lotion that actually works. Olaplex does tiny promotions here and there on other websites but right now they offer 30% off everything, plus bundles.
Victoria Beckham
Top tier eyeliner that makes you look like you tried when you absolutely did not. Almost never on sale. If you have always wondered what the hype is about, this is your time. My friend Isabel told me Posh Spice “sells like 50 of these eyeliners every second.”
Left on Friday
The swimsuits that feel athletic and hot at the same time. L.O.F. does not play the discount game. If you want a swimsuit for vacation, scoop it now. Remember; bathing suits don’t go on sale during bathing suit season. The best time to buy a coat is in July. The best time to buy a bikini is now.
Cle de Peau Concealer
Cle de Peau does not discount often and the concealer is usually excluded from promotions. I took the plunge after a rec from Lindsay Silberman of Hotel Lobby Candle. Dammit, Lindsay, I am addicted. It’s PERFECT.
Away
Away keeps things pretty quiet for most of the year. Their luggage holds up in a way that makes you mad at every suitcase you owned before. This sale is always the one to watch. The lifetime warranty is hard to beat. They’ve replaced my suitcase twice in the last 10 years; both reasons it needed to be replaced were my fault (one was my cat’s fault — OGs know). Will never travel with any other suitcase again.
Soft Services
I got this as a gift last Christmas and by the time I decided I loved it and wanted to recommend it there was no discount to be found. Anywhere. This is the first time I’ve seen it on sale (like beyond a welcome 10%) in 2025. Grab a buffing bar while you’re at it. Sloughs off skin like nothing else.
Ziip
The only microcurrent tool that can compete with a facial. Ziip runs one 20% off sale a year and this is it. Yes, my code GEEZIIP still works for 20% off and gets you 30% off gels, even bundles.
Snif
Great candles, great scents, and the only time you see the full sized favorites actually go on promotion. If you want a holiday candle that doesn’t smell like a mall, grab the pumpkin smash for 30% off. I have spent so much of my own money on this candle I am embarrassed by it. And I shop for a living.
AYR
AYR is allergic to discount culture. Their classic shirts and perfect jeans almost never drop in price. This is the rare moment where you get the good pieces for less.
Catbird
The jewelry brand that keeps things slow and thoughtful. Catbird basically does one real sale a year. If you have had a bracelet, ring, or charm saved, buy it today.
Margaux
Comfortable, beautiful flats that people hunt down secondhand because they hate paying full price.
Merit
Minimalist beauty with zero fluff and zero discounts until this time of year. Right now you can get 20% off site-wide and a Flush Balm blush with purchase. The mascara changed my life; I went from wearing no mascara from 1987 to 2022 to wearing it every single day. Won’t leave the house without it on.
Cuyana
Bags and leather goods that are built to last, in shapes that feel timeless and classic so you can wear them for a lifetime (your own!).
Alo Yoga
Alo does a couple sales but very few that touch the staples everyone wants. The bestselling leggings and tops go fast. If you’ve been circling a matching set, lfg!
Sabahs
Handmade leather shoes that basically have a cult following. Size up one full size in these (and read their size chart for more details). If you have a wider foot, get men’s. There’s no difference! I have…so many pairs in so many colors. They wear beautifully, and they NEVER smell. No, we don’t have to wear socks with them!
There are a lot of other great sales today. It’s the last day to grab the TheraFace with code GEETHANKS, and yes, I did ask Dermstore to bring that deal back just for Geezers after we sold it out in August. They said “for the Geezers? Old Navy and GAP are also pulling their weight with genuinely great basics (yes, these pants are a basic). That puffer coat and those soft sweaters are the real deal. I wore the puffer to the dog park this morning in 36-degree weather and stayed warm the entire time. Truly worth grabbing, and maybe grab an extra in a fun color and put it in the coat drive box in your town.
