I can't believe I'm about to type this...

(And I know some of you will demand an apology.)

I can’t believe I am about to type these words: It’s the annual drop of the Bonne Maman advent calendar! 2023’s version is live and available for purchase via the Bonne Maman site, and you will also be able to snag it at World Market later in the season (usually Nov. 1) and sometimes even Costco. I know the summer heads are going to go ape on me like always but I don’t make the call on when this thing hits the market. It’s even pre-PSL season.

It’s a whole thing.

For the uninitiated, the Bonne Maman calendar is 23 days of tiny jars of jam in various flavors plus one tiny jar of honey. Some of the flavors are only around in the holiday season, thus creating the jam advent calendar economy. This will be my 4th year celebrating September with the Bonne Maman offerings (~*this is your jam, you make the rules*~), and I can’t wait. ($45)

(Remember, they are preserves! My cousin Megan texted me to say her parents have 4 jars left from the 2022 calendar.)
