I soft-launched 3 new recs to my group chat and they were winners
(I always make them try things before I tell you, just in case I get something way wrong.)
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that over the last few days I released a two-parter featuring the bestselling Gee Thanks! recs, complete with Geezer reviews for that official stamp of approval. I also casually dropped three brand-new products I have only talked about in group chats with some very trusted friends (who love finding and trying products as much as I do). They see everything just a little earlier on the off chance I get a recommendation way wrong and then blast it out to 100k people who spend their hard-earned money only to say, “WTF, Caroline?” So far, that hasn’t happened.

FIRST: We have a really good deal on another beloved bestseller (and they also happen to be a brand partner of ours!) — the Ziip Halo! I love the ZIIP because it’s one of the few beauty devices that actually makes my face look different immediately. If I wake up puffy or just feel blah, I’ll do a quick session and my cheekbones look more lifted, my jawline looks sharper, and everything feels tighter in the best way. Over time, I’ve noticed my skin looks firmer and more glowy overall thanks to the lymphatic draining module I use a few times a week, and the one that basically pulls the whiteheads out of the creases of my noses. (Disgustingly satisfying; highly rec.) In conjunction with the app, the Ziip feels like a professional facial I can do on my couch in less than ten minutes while watching Amanda and Kyle fight on Summer House. It’s not a “maybe this is working?” product. I genuinely see it, and that’s why I keep using it. I can also see a difference when I skip a few weeks.
Right now you can use code GEEZIIP (actually, you can always use that code, and that’s a benefit of the partnership) to get 10% off site-wide, but now through March 3, 2026, that code will get you 20% off all gels. You need a conductive gel to use this device, so it’s worth it to get them on sale (duh). I like the silver the best.
Now, onto the three new products!
There are so many body washes in the body wash space, but this one called “3 nights in Madrid” from the brand Whereafter is the first one in a long while that made me do a double sniff. It’s great and long-lasting; I still get a whiff of it on myself hours after I shower. What I like about this one is that it doesn’t use plain water as the base. It uses aloe vera juice and chamomile hydrosol instead, which I didn’t even realize was a thing until I tried it. It just feels softer when it lathers, and my skin doesn’t have that tight, squeaky feeling after I rinse off. It’s a nice treat in a scent profile I really like, and the friends I shared it with like it too.
As you might know, I am truly obsessed with MAC’s Creme Sheen lipstick in “Dare You,” which they rudely discontinued over a year ago for reasons I am still unaware of. Since then, I have been buying up deadstock wherever I can find it, but there will come a day when I swipe the last bit of my last tube for the last time, and I want to be prepared.
I have tried tons of lipsticks and stains and balms, and I have finally landed on something I really, really love: Bisou Balm from Violette_FR, a little French brand. It claims to provide buildable color with a “just-kissed blur.” For me, it gives enough pigment to feel like a lipstick, enough moisture to keep my lips from chapping, and the glimmer of hope that I will survive in a world without “Dare You.” I got 4 colors…and I’ll get more. Use code WELCOME15 for 15% off!
This incense from Aesop has a hefty price tag considering most incense is $1.99 but if you want something fancy that isn’t a candle, all three scents on offer are winners. I lit a few during the blizzard and it was just so cozy. Sarashina is tipping the scales as my favs. Please try it and report back; would love your thoughts!

A question on the bisou balm: I bought one a few years ago, and I love how it looks on me, but the cap always comes off in my purse. Has the packaging improved? Thanks!
