If I could bring only 5 things to a desert island

A very random but extremely honest list of holy grails.

It was so hard to narrow this list down, but I tried to pick things across a bunch of categories like beauty, kitchen, wellness, and home, so it’s not just me screaming about five different serums (though, honestly, I could). And listen: this list is hardly exhaustive (I’m already kind of regretting not including the Merit moisturizer…). But these are the things that have earned a permanent spot in my life.

Framebridge: Not the poster (though hi, Dilaria), but the frame. Or rather, the way it was framed, and how I came to select the frame. I am a Framebridge lifer. They make everything look like I spent thousands at a fancy frame shop when in reality I dragged and dropped a file from my couch. Sometimes I visit them at their brick and mortar, and that’s somehow even faster? I tend to be more decisive in person. Zero stress, maximum chic. I make my friends vote on the different matte and frame combos before I order. They love it, I’m sure.

Material Tomato Knife Set: Technically called the “Tomato Knife Set,” but they’re my all-purpose fruit and veg knives. Do not let the name fool you: cucumbers, peaches, bell peppers, you name it, and it’ll slice like butter. They have 190+ 5-star reviews (one of them is mine, obviously). I use them every single day. Grüns Gummies: Greens in gummy form, because greens in drink form is positively gag. I’ve been taking these every day since Memorial Day 2024 and have only been sick once — a light cold that lasted 36 hours this past February. That’s it. One and a half sniffly days out of 449 days. And I’m not alone because I get constant DMs from Geezers saying the same. They taste like candy, they trick my brain into thinking I’m eating candy, and somehow my immune system is thriving.
