Nora and Caroline get into a fight in Vegas

After being influenced to buy tickets to a show at the Sphere.

Hi Geezers!

I just got back from Las Vegas, where Nora McInerny and I stayed at a new (to us) hotel, went to a show at The Sphere that the influencer girlies have been posting about, and spent far too much to eat way too little.

We also hit the slots, wrote thousands of words and got in our first real fight (!!) over a man who barked on an escalator. NO REALLY.

As of this posting, Nora and I have taken seven different work trips to Vegas together, and one Thanksgiving trip as a family of 7 (her family of 6 + me). Being able to have this time-honored ritual with someone I would have only been able to know because I lived in Los Angeles is one of the best things to come out of my four year stint in Tinseltown.

From the origin story of how we started this tradition…to what we ordered for dinner…to a place of 9/11…to how we freaked out the service professional who dropped off said dinner…to our review of Postcards from Earth at the Sphere…to the aforementioned fight, we truly had a full dance card and we cover it all in this bonus episode of Gee Thanks!
